About me
I am a middle school science educator at St. John the Apostle Catholic School in Virginia Beach, VA, bringing 21 years of experience as an aviation electrician to the classroom. I’m passionate about fostering hands-on, project-based learning that connects students to real-world STEM applications. Currently pursuing my Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, I’m focusing my research on integrating STEM and Catholic values in middle school education. I lead initiatives like Girls Who Code and the SJA Aerial Drone Team, which competes in NASA-sponsored events, and partner with community organizations, including the Civil Air Patrol and the Elizabeth River Project, to inspire students in STEM careers and environmental stewardship
