In an age where technology rapidly evolves, the integration of Generative AI in educational settings presents both exciting opportunities and significant challenges. This presentation explores the journey of introducing Generative AI to high school seniors enrolled in a Dual Enrollment Writing Course at Albemarle County Public Schools. Despite initial restrictions on AI usage, a collaborative effort led to a pilot program to enhance students' writing skills and digital literacy.
