About me
Sarah Dornan has worked for Spotsylvania County Public Schools since 2001 as a classroom teacher and earned the award, SCPS New Teacher of the Year. Sarah transitioned to be a school librarian in 2004 until 2022 where she focused on creating life-long readers. Her passion is instructional technologies including robotics, coding, virtual reality, 3D Printing, and web design. She served as the Secondary Library Liaison for several years and was named the VAASL Rappahannock Regional Librarian of the Year and SCTC's Teacher of the Year in 2022. This is her third year as an Instructional Innovation Specialist. Sarah has four children: two teenagers, a college freshman heading to JMU, a second year returning to Virginia Tech, and one mischievous four-legged friend.
