About me
My name is Kevin Rickard and I have been teaching in Virginia Beach for 19 years. Prior to that I retired out of the Navy after a 23 year career. I have worked as a 4th Grade Teacher, 5th Grade Teacher, Inclusion models, Science Lab Teacher, Computer Resource Specialist and now Instructional Technology Specialist. I like being the ITS because it gives me a chance to help everyone open up so many opportunities. I have also been using DonorsChoose for 17 years to help get materials for my school. I manage the Live Morning Announcements at my school as well as the Science Lab and the Learning Gardens/Outdoor Learning spaces. I also love kayaking and photography.
