About me
I have been an educator for 20+ years with jobs ranging from secondary education (social studies), the Coordinator of Innovative Learning (Powhatan County), and now as the VVAAS Coordinator for the VDOE.
I love to learn new things and share what I learn with others. Outside in my garden, I'm learning about native plants and how to help my local environment by expanding my plant selection. As the VVAAS Coordinator, I am constantly learning the value of the VVAAS platform and the data provided that can support educators in making critical instructional decisions.
VVAAS, Virginia Visualization and Analytics Solution is a data platform purchased by the VDOE for all Virginia K-12 Divisions. VVAAS will provide divisions, schools, and educators with growth data through its growth, diagnostic, and student reports.
