About me
My name is Dr. Tysha Batts. I have been a teacher for over 15 years. I have also worked as a STEM Education Specialist with Virginia Space Grant Consortium where I managed a STEM summer program. As a contractor for NASA, I worked on creating curricula that follows the Artemis missions, interviewed scientists, engineers and astronauts and piloted a NASA based debate program for Sparking Participation in real-world eXperiences (SPARX). I am excited about growing as a instructional technology coach.
