About me
Karen Richardson has had a love affair with technology since she touched her first computer in 1983. In the late 1980s, she put that passion to work when she taught her students how to use a desktop publisher to create bookmarks and her fellow English teachers how to use a word processor to create handouts. She has never looked back and after almost 35 years still finds technology fun and fascinating! Karen lives and works from a small farm in Sussex County and until this year, served as Executive Director of the Virginia Society for Technology in Education. In between gardening, reading, crafting and playing music, she creates online learning experiences, teaches for University of Richmond and Old Dominion University and creates and facilitates professional development workshops.
