About me
I have been an educator since 2015 first as a Library Media Specialist for Tazewell County Public Schools and currently as an Instructional Technology Resource Teacher for Washington County Public Schools. I enjoy the daily challenge of problem solving and troubleshooting to figure out the best ways to help the classroom teachers and students implement technology into their instruction and activities. In another life, before becoming a teacher, I worked in radio as an announcer and news anchor and in television as a production assistant and master control operator. I later worked for the libraries at Emory & Henry College and King University in various capacities. I did not realize that learning all of those broadcasting and library skills more than 25 years ago would combine to help me as a teacher today.
