Aulander Skinner has dedicated 30 years to the field of education, fulfilling various roles such as instructional assistant, computer resource teacher, classroom teacher, and Instructional Technology Resource Teacher (ITRT). In his current capacity as an ITRT, Skinner has made significant contributions at the district, state, and national levels to develop, enhance, and integrate technology within educational standards. Recognized as a technology leader, he provides mentorship to educators, organizes data, and facilitates professional development for teachers, administrators, and staff. With experience in presenting at school, district, state, and national conferences, Aulander underscores the vital importance of technology integration in promoting instructional rigor and student engagement.
Additionally, Aulander has collaborated with curriculum development and design teams to create impactful learning experiences. He holds several certifications, including Canvas Certified Educator, VSTE-certified coach, ISTE-Net-T certification, Microsoft Innovator, and Apple Teacher. Aulander is committed to fostering strong relationships and establishing clear goals, which he believes are fundamental to achieving success in instructional technology.
