About me
An engineer by training and trade, my involvement with K-12 science programs spans more than fifteen years. Penn State University is the central resource for the national Sea Air and Land Challenge, a STEM initiative sponsored by DTRA. Nicknamed the SeAL Challenge, the program’s goal is to introduce high school and middle school students to engineering through the use of robotics. This low-cost, easily accessible program can be used with after school groups, clubs, as part of a science, math or technology course, or as a stand-alone course. Ask me about our EbD curriculum. I would love to talk with both potential regional coordinators and educators about the SeAL Challenge!
